With over three decades in the music industry and two decades in the video production industry, Bazza brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Weka Productions Ltd.
Bazza’s music experience includes playing, touring and recording with New Zealand pop band The Mockers in the early 80′s. Teaching music in various schools over the years, playing in numerous other bands, most recently the Celtic Flyers. Bazza is also a highly accomplished solo performer and song writer. He maintains a live playing schedule predominately in Auckland, New Zealand and Melbourne, Australia.
Bazza’s life in video production began in 1990 with a slot on TV3′s Nightline, using a pioneering self camming technique referred to as “Bazzacam”. This technique has since been replicated all over the world. In 1995 he was employed by TVNZ as new media project manager for two new media startups in Auckland and Wellington, with responsibilty for producing all local content. Since 2000, Bazza has worked on a number of lifestyle and reality series as Director/Camerman for New Zealand network television and the BBC. He also has extensive experience in corporate non broadcast communications and television commercials. These days Bazza specializes in producing material for the web, mobile devices and DVD.
Bazza runs an HD camera crew and Final Cut Pro edit suite. He holds a bachelors degree in commerce and arts from the University of Waikato and a teaching diploma from the Auckland College of Education (B.Soc.Sc. Dip Tchg).
Bazza is based in Auckland, New Zealand.
